What’s a netID?

A netID is your online identity with WCC. It and your password are keys that let you access online services ranging from your WCC email account to MyWCC, where you register for classes, check your grades, and more. Your netID is the part of your WCC email address that comes before the @ sign.

What is the WCC Gateway?

The WCC Gateway lets you log in just once to access your WCC email account, MyWCC, Blackboard, and the eBill student billing and payment system.

What are the benefits of using the WCC Gateway?

The WCC Gateway provides a consistent, secure, and authoritative means of authentication for accessing WCC’s multiple web applications such as email, MyWCC, Blackboard and eBill. You no longer have to log into each WCC web application separately. Using the WCC Gateway reduces security risks by limiting the exposure of your netID and password to only one login session.

How do you access the WCC Gateway?

There are two easy ways to reach the WCC Gateway on WCC’s website:

  • Click the WCC Gateway link in the top navigation bar that’s on every page
  • Choose WCC Gateway from the Quick Links pull-down menu that also appears on every page

What do you need to log in to the WCC Gateway?

To log into the WCC Gateway, you must have a netID and password. If you’ve forgotten either one, visit the Account Management page.

Is the WCC Gateway secure?

The WCC Gateway is secure. It uses the same kind of encryption as many online banking and ecommerce sites. To protect your personal information, when you finish using services from the WCC Gateway you should log out of it and close any open windows in your web browser.

Why do you have to provide your netID and password a second time to access the WCC employee Outlook web application?

The WCC employee Outlook web application has not been implemented into the WCC Gateway at this time. It is a priority and will be included in a future release of the WCC Gateway.

Authorized users such as parents can access the eBill student billing and payment system here.
